PRACTICE AREA:

Luis G. González, Esq.

Luis Guillermo González is the founder of LGG Law. He creates business and legal strategies to protect client’s intellectual property, and regularly advises clients on the dynamics of specific contract elements to consider during the contract formation and negotiation process. Additionally, he represents clients in business formation (including drafting of internal agreements and properly structuring the business entity), contract drafting and review (including all relevant business and intellectual property contracts such as non-disclosure agreements etc.), licensing, settlements, trademark, copyright and transactional law related matters.

Mr. González has an extensive background in business particularly as it pertains to Texas, México and the Latin American market. He has represented corporations from Latin America and the United States looking to penetrate and conduct business in the Texas market, on legal issues pertaining to contracts, investments, interpreting regulations (state and federal) and protecting their intellectual and business property as they grow.

Luis owned and co-founded an importing company originally out of Buenos Aires, Argentina; he took part in introducing boutique wineries from Argentina into the Texas market particularly those in the Greater San Antonio area, Houston, Austin and Dallas. His excitement for business, education and leadership led him to co-found a consulting firm, Our Community Inc., LLC, known as OCI Group, which currently works with businesses and organizations throughout the United States and México. Luis has traveled to Costa Rica, where he went on a national soccer tour with his collegiate team, and has lived in Madrid, Spain.

He is currently a volunteer and consulting chief trainer for numerous leadership experiences implemented locally, nationally, and internationally by the National Hispanic Institute and the National Hispanic Institute at San Antonio (NHI@SA). Through these organizations, he has collaborated in writing curriculum and running various leadership experiences for high school students in areas including Texas, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Illinois, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Monterrey, México.

Due to his diverse experiences, his focus and passion is on the nexus between the law and business (domestic and international) and their impact on communities. As a result of his innovative and cutting-edge view and approach to law and business, González is actively sought after to be a featured speaker for various schools, organizations, and businesses as well as to serve on various local and national boards.
